Oz/NZ Wow Release

Blizzard have announced a local release for World of Warcraft after months of speculation. The game will become available for release in Australia and New Zealand at the same time as the US and Korea, and local players will be able to join the US West server. Previous comments from Blizzard had cast doubt on when and where Oceania players would be able to play the game, as in a very unpopular decision it was recently announced players would be forced to use the server closest to them. That would have put Oceana players on an Asian server with a dramatically smaller bandwidth connection than to the US, as well as a majority non-English speaking population. European players still won’t receive copies of the game until several months after the US release.
