Dragon Empires Cancelled
Fantasy MMORPG Dragon Empires is the latest MMO to cease development following an announcement by Codemasters. The company cited undisclosed “technical issues” as the reason for the title’s demise. Word has it there were problems with their server code, though that seems a strange reason to can an entire game.

I feel for the coders, artists and the like, who lost all their hard work, but at least it wasn’t a small indie company who lost out. Maybe if it was, they would’ve stuck with it. Another reason to loathe large game developing companies.
I think it’s funny though, at the top of the news article there is a link to BUY NOW. Just in case the news article had tickled that bone of enticement.
At least the link doesn’t go anywhere.
Actually, what’s even more laugh enticing is that the company Codemasters having trouble with their code. Maybe a name change…
