I did have a rant planned that hilariously compared Sydney Airport to a badly designed platform level. After careful consideration I realised two things -
1) No-one wants to hear about how hard it was for me to find the Qantas domestic departure terminal in Sydney airport. (There are two, apparently.)
2) It’s been done before, and to death.
So I shall spare everyone the tedium with a quick summary. Sydney airport is really confusing, just like a cute platformer suffering from really, really poor level design. Now that I have that out the way I can present - MORAL QUANDRY OF THE WEEK.
MORAL QUANDRY OF THE WEEK
The characters in my comic are, as I have mentioned previously, based on real life people. As you may have noticed, the portrayal of Mikey has been… less than kind. The real life Mikey is starting to express concerns that I am starting to damage his reputation, both with the industry and possibly his mother.
I have an idea for next week’s strip that, while extremely humourous, again presents Mikey as a less than stellar guy. He has asked me not to do it out of consideration for his basic right to at least some dignity. The question I put to my readers is this - should I go ahead with the strip or should I be nice and come up with something else? What’s more important - human dignity or at least two minutes of some pretty fine entertainment?
