HL2 Pirated and Released in Russia

Russian hackers have compiled and translated a version of the leaked Half-Life 2 source code, and released it publicly. Apparently the game is fully playable, though there are minor plot inconsistencies, presumably due to incomplete content.

crap!, i want to got to russia now.

erm.. and play a retarded unplayable, unfinished , buggy build of a game that was stolen? why dont you wait for Valve to actually finish what theyre doing and buy it in the shop?

I think the term waiting is the problem…

You whipper snappers need to learn patience. Why, in MY day… @;-)

yep, that’s we , Russians ! Well, gotta go , HL2 is waiting ;)

Toodles

Download to your hearts content, and maybe if you’re lucky you will get a version that has been modified to destroy some really important and unrecoverable data on your hard drive.

But don’t fret if that happens, call Valve’s helpdesk to assist you in your hour of need. Though don’t wait too long, they may not be around too long. Stealing the fruits of their funded endeavours might lead them to spiral into a make-or-break scenario for their next software release, causing them to reconsider the wisdom of such ventures.

Not likely you rationalise? Well then, go ahead and play it, you know you deserve it!!

who cares about this anywoo?

To vodka and Half-Life 2 *raises vodka glass*!

It’s sickens me to hear this that a dev team spent countless hours on the pride of their lives only to be given the finger by what are probably a bunch of loser hackers.

I agree. You people… get some patience, and wait for the real game to come out! And buy it. It will be worth it. Every piece of data on that CD!
