Leaked HL2 “Patched”
The hackers who leaked a backyard compile of Half-Life 2 have now released a “patch” to fix up some texture problems with the original version. Included in the patch is an nfo file allegedly containing a message from the hackers, who threaten to release more stolen material if Valve don’t stop “lying to their customers” about the unfinished state of their game. Also released from the stolen code was an early but barely useable version of new NVidia Detonator drivers vaunted to give significant framerate increases on GeForce cards. However, the drivers have to be hacked into systems manually and produce long streams of errors when used, so they aren’t recommended.

I just read in a news site the hacker is ready to release the Pre-Gold and 100% of the source code tomorrow as a payback, as well as Team Fortress 2.
RIP Valve.
