lord of the rings is a really dumb movie which I feel sorry for the people who watch it because i dun see any reason why anybody should

Damn. I just read this comment and I want 4 seconds of my life back.

I say lord of the rings is one of the best films there is, Im glad they are going to show it in the cinema soon because me and my mates are going the day it comes out, we dont care a heck if people think its a waste of time, cheers.

If someone doesn´t like this kind of movies maybe doesn´t have hobbie with entertainment this is entertainment not real life. Enjoy this because there are people working for you to show you the best way to transmitt an excelent book like Lord of the Rings

Lord of the Rings Trilogy are for those people who can truly appreciate movies at its best.. even better than Star Wars or The Matrix Reloaded..Matrix 2 is so overrated..

I dunno about `truly appreciate movies at its best’. Maybe ‘biggest’ would be more appropriate.

With the same lack of respect he displayed, I have to say Mr. X is simply a fool. Obviously the "Lord of the Rings" Trilogy is simply ‘too sophisticated’ for him (I am being sarcastic). He has a right to his own opinion, but as an artist and writer, I can appreciate all the hard work that went into this magnificent trilogy, like many others. The story is also a classic tale of good versus evil (Yes my friends, EVIL DOES EXIST whether you choose to believe it or not…) As a kid from the Barrios of New York, it was great written stories like TLOTR that inspired me to become an artist and gave me hope for a better future (It’s not as silly as it sounds, believe me…) Mr. X, if you can’t enjoy these movies, instead of putting them down, go watch stuff like "Charlie’s Angels" or whatever you enjoy and leave these movies to the true fans who know how to appreciate them. Feel sorry for yourself; you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about. Thanks for your time. (P.S. This is the first time I send a comment. I won’t give respect to someone that disrespects so many people at once.)

So the debate rages on - is The Lord of the Rings the best movie trilogy (I say trilogy though I know it is one story and if you are going to be technical about it, it actually has six books plus appendices) ever? Well, I can add my vote to the "Yes it is, so stop being the idiot who has to think about it" pile. Those who say no, clearly do not understand the truth and beauty behind the greatest masterpiece of all time (talking about book and film here). And rich is right, a lot of hard work went into it.

LOTR fans aren’t as lame as Matrix geeks, I will hand them that.

the third movie is great! try to appreciate movies like that…tolkien’s the best…

movies like return of the king (and the other previous movies of lotr) are one of a kind so you better watch out for it…the books are great, as well as the three movies presented…jrr tolkien is a genius, rarely you can find writers like him!!!

Anybody who dosen’t like the lord of the rings trilogy are obviously someone who likes movies were you have a lump in your throat. A little action can’t be handle by some people. I give my regards to Peter Jackson and all those rings fans.

Clearly The LORD of The rings Movies are the best movies to be ever made! Translating 6 detailed books into 3 detailed movies is one heck of a job! Well done Peter Jackson and JRR Tolkien! Obviously MR x is an idiot who doesn’t appreciate the production crew and writers work! Down with MR X! The Lord of the rings triology is possibly a few of the best movies ever made! Peter Deserves an Oscar and Mr X deserces a kick in the butt!

I don’t mean to be rude, but I just saw Lord of the Rings 3 last night and I thought it was dumb. My butt hurt when it was over. Luckily it only cost me a buck to see it. But I’m glad that other people enjoy it so much.
