AGDC Registrations Open

I browsed over to the Australian Games Developers Conference site and noticed that registrations for the November 20-23 conference have been opened. If you get in before October 19 you will qualify for the Early Bird Registration and receive $100 off the regular $900 fee (ouch). Full time students can attend for $250. A quick look down the roster revealed an eclectic list of speakers including Seamus Blackley (ex-XBox, now of VP Development), Paul Steed (ex-idsoftware now XBox), and too many others to mention as well as a host of Australian/NZ industry names. And don’t forget the annual LANFest organised by Ausgamers, the $40 entry of which includes admission to the AGDC Expo on Saturday and Sunday as well as attendance to the Sunday afternoon keynote address. I’m going to do my best to get down there this year. For the lectures of course, not the cocktail parties. Yeah that, er, General Design stream looks like the ticket (cough).
