Full Throttle Sequel Cancelled

In a surprise move, LucasArts have cancelled the much anticipated sequal to Full Throttle. Perhaps they want to concentrate on the 17th version of Rebel Assault.

“We do not want to disappoint the many fans of Full Throttle,” says Simon Jeffery, president of LucasArts, “and hope everyone can understand how committed we are to delivering the best quality gaming experience that we possibly can.”

If only this was an April fools joke.

Sheesh what is the gaming industry coming to?

Hope Sam N Max 2 lives on.. and from what I saw of Full Throttle 2, it looked good.. guess the gameplay wasn’t up to scratch.. or perhaps they’re pooling resources to get SWG out of beta =p

Sequels shmeeequels.. how about some more originality?

Milk that cash cow baby!

this is the most worthless piece of shite that has come out of lucasarts since starwars: starfighter

Lucasarts have become too much of a shite factory since the original full throttle

I agree with that. They have lost the plot big time of at LucasArts. Damn shame I tell ya.

That reminds.. Mental Note: Pick up KOTOR tomorrow, hope that I don’t get struck down and frigged over by the faults as layed out over at http://www.gamefaqs.com

This is crap. I can’t believe Lucasarts pulled that on us. I was really excited for that game to come out. But even so, there really ought to be more creativity coming from Lucas…it is ALL Starwars games, and they’re all the same.
