Back in the day Sierra made several series of adventure games. Recently a fan made a prequel to one of those series. Space Quest 0 is true to the style of the originals, both in humour and gameplay. If you’re a fan of the adventure games of old take a look, it’s under a meg.

Haven’t played through it yet, but who knows.
Yup… It’s great. I don’t care about cool shadows in games like this, I didn’t either in the 80’s. Gameplay and fun is all a true SQ-fan need. Graphics come in as a distant third. Still, these are some of the best fan-made screens I’ve seen.
Beats "The Lost Chapter". It doesn’t have the "what should I do, I am so lost" feel, TLC suffered from.
Puzzles are good, you even get to make some choices in the game.
Apart from some minor bugs, It gave me the feeling I was playing an ‘official’ SQ…
I just finished it. Was stuck at the end. I give it a 9.0 on my good shitto-meter… :) For all you AGI-freaks, PLAY IT!

Cosmos Quest I and Cosmos Quest II - adventure game similar to Space Quest.
It looks great, but the player shadows make the lack of shadows for the goal posts, corner posts and light towers look a bit strange
