Hopefully there will be some passion in this title.. Unlike the last League game.. Back on PC in 96 I think.. There really needs to be some kind of passion meter that steams over into on field fights.. Wild elbows.. that result in judiciary hearings ( loss of players) Add in a coaching facility that gets players working on aspects of the game for each match they play… Good players in a team that go on to State of Origin.. Etcetera..

If it is lacking in anyway.. It will be hammered.. It is hard to make a sports game that has not had a lenght production cycle.. The unfortunate side to this one.. Although fun to Aussies and New Zealanders.. What person off shore is gonna grab at it.. They need to work on that aspect..

Widen the appeal of the sport by doing something breathtaking with graphics, sound and gameplay.. I never used to think Ice Hockey or NFL were interesting till the games.. This should be the objective.. Don’t go for the existing audience of a sport.. Reach for those that would never touch it by enticing them with something that is brilliant..

Goodluck Sidhe.. I hope you pull it off.

Did you notice that the souths players are facing th wrong way when the canberra guy is kicking for goal… :P Looks good though, hopefully it will play well, and should appeal to league fans in great britain (if they include he english super league as well… good business decision ;) ) should also have state of origin (if ur team does well, you get to coach it, similar to EA NHL series, or if you have a certain amount of players in the team(s) ) The game should also be editable by third parties to extend the life with a player editor or something… always is a pleasent suprise.

Anyway, good luck to Sidhe, i’m sure it will be a nice title, so long as they do not make the new zealand players overly good.

Thank god a publisher has taken on this job. It’s a good thing that sidhe is bringing out this one, especially for Kiwi’s, With the recent surge of form and support to the NZ Warrior’s. It will be a hard job though making it the complete league dream but not impossible. It will have to have good features like super league, origin etc. Eagerly awaiting this one, cheers Sidhe

must contain super league for me even to consider purchase the shamefull super league manager was such a waste of money it would not be hard to improve on.

it’s good to see that finally a decent Rugby League is coming out. From the sceen shots it looks really good, hopefully the game play is really good aswell

Are youn 100% positive this game is going to be released out on ps2 ???

Are you Russell Crowe or Ray Martin South-S Main Fan?

Rugby is my life and I will become more attatched if this game does hit australia. Later.

PS- go the broncs

PSS- maroons kick ass

Dear souths-s main fan. First i want to tell you that souths suck fat and second i think it will come out. Chow.

Hi, anon here again, i was messin with ya souths main fan, i kinda like souths. You’d get along with my mum well, she loves souths. No joke. If you have time maybe you can write back on this website sometime. we could chat maybe.

Any game where I get to put my head near other male’s rear ends is my kind of game.

This game has been the most anticipated title in my mind since i heard about its possible relaese on PS2 almost 9months ago. I am a huge fan of the game and i would like to see the game include realistic player development, origin selection based purely on seasons performance, player development over time and realistic fights and scrums. The super league inclusion is not overly important to me but would be an added bonus just the same. Also a feature that includes some of the classic teams of the past era, Like the 1995 QLD origin winning side and many others.

PS - Go the Broncos

PPS - Good luck Matt Sing and Brent Tate on being selected for Kangaroos vs Kiwis!!!

this game must be the most anticipated title i have ever seen.it needs to be liflike though.originand kangaroos players must be selected only for there performance during the season.super league is not needed as that was in 1997 and this is 2003.there must be reallife fights and sin bims for backchat and so on.well good luck

ps…up the nights

Mate this looks to be a great game i cant wait till it comes out on PS2

Can’t wait for it to come out
