In Game Sunglasses For SWG Collector’s Edition

Players who buy the Collector’s Edition of upcoming Star Wars Galaxies MMORPG will find their in-game characters equipped with exclusive sunglasses. As well as the usual collection of extra goodies, Sony is giving away three types of eyewear as an in-game wearable based on player feedback - which is perhaps the first time a game item has been included in a bonus pack (and is a very cool idea). The sunglasses are not tradeable, and so will only be wearable by those who purchase the CE.

Among other more traditional extras bundled with the Collector’s Edition will be:

*An art book that includes most of the concept art for the game, along with final screenshots. We also included film stills and art from other sources (like the comics) so you can see where we drew our inspiration - there are some cool studies of how we transformed creatures from the Ewok cartoons into something that would fit within our game. There’s a lot of “behind the scenes” info in the text, and a great intro written by Lead Artist, Jake Rodgers.

*A pewter figurine depicting a female Zabrak adventurer. The figurine is based of in-game art, including wearables.

*A Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided sew-on patch.

*A Star Wars Galaxies lapel pin with Rebel and Imperial logos.

*A Collector’s Edition manual that is signed by the team leads (and includes another special surprise).

GIMME GIMME GIMME!

Will the Collector’s Edition be available in Oz?

I’ve been looking for it online and no-one overseas will ship it here … stores in Oz I’ve asked about it

have no idea if they’ll be able to get it.

http://www.gamesmarket.com….

they are shipping the game :)

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!!

I was about to give up all hope.

Well, that excitement was premature …

Gamesmarket.com.au has the normal game NOT

the collector’s edition and they are also OVERPRICED … 129.95!?

Go to http://www.gpstore.co.nz where it is $99.95 plus

postage (about $10 but still under that other ridiculous price)

GP Store NZ don’t actually have stock, and can’t even guarantee they will at any point this year. They normally are awesome, but for this title, their suppliers have been somewhat floundering.
