Damn no mention of Soul Calibur 2 for Gamecube.. Kicked in the butt again..

Dear Nintendo and Publishers who give a damn,

What Platform should I invest in if I want the best games? It is obvious that I am having long waits between brilliance on the current Nintendo Platform. This is making me a little uneasy as a consumer (One of only very few in Aust) of Gamecube software. So far I have invested in about 20 titles. Of those, very few should have been purchased.

Your Faithfully.

Nintendo Consumer.

Soul Calibur II is out in Japan for Cube, and since Namco are working closely with Nintendo these days, I think it unlikely it won't ever come out in PAL (when is another question).

Consider importing a Freeloader disc. I got mine just about the time Metroid finally came out in PAL (6 months is all it took), so I played the US version with no problems. The game did lock up twice (and I can't tell if it would have happened anyway) but For the most part it was a painless process.

Still doesn't make up for the dearth of good Cube stuff. There were only a few Cube-only titles of any note. F Zero X, Mario Kart, Rebel Strike (most impressive), MGS- a remake but a great game, Geist, Starfox and Wario (the last two are likely to be big disappointments, Starfox had horrible controls)

How much did that disc cost GEORGE... Can you get it at any reputable BLADE like dealer.

As for starfox, that was one I was glad I rented first.

I guite enjoyed Clone Wars (the game) on the Cube, getting out of the vehicles was cool, that helicopter thingy (that is federation slang) was cool. So I'm looking forward to Rebel Strike, but I must confess I thought the Rebel Assault 2 was a little bit repitative.. And being a flight sim fan. I'd love to see a "lock-on" feature, so I can keep track of targets (even though they are gone in a few shots).

F zero is one I'm hanging out for.. I really wish Nintendo would make a serious racer.. The latest MArio Kart game looks worse everytime I see it. But nothing stays cool when you promote it for 2 years.. Better to shove it in our face three months before and say.. "Surprise".

I don't know how much Freeloader as because I was given it as a gift but I believe its about the cost of a game. I'd try lik-sang, they were cheap and quick when I bought a Dual Shock adaptor for Xbox.
