get a tough skin , develop a very sarcastic attitude don't take comments to heart and believe you can learn from everyone (even the bastards who will put down people who are start out). If you really want to do it go for it and don't let anyone stop you. Play a lot of games. and keep nagging companies involved in the gaming

Plus get some design and programming skills

Im now attending BCTI a Business Computer Training Institute and Im going through Phase 1 and Phase 2 after the 15 month course I'll be able to get almost any job to do with computers, in phase 2 I will be doing Web Design, Learning to build computers out of just parts, make my own computer, repair and take apart computers, a list of things I'll be able to do. I've always been interested in Games and Design since I was about 7 years old, I am 20 years old right now, so what I'm going to try to do when I get out of here is get an Entry Level position in the Video Game Design field, I'm very good with computers as it is, but I lack the programming EXP and knowledge of the Game Design field. So I would appreciate it if you would send me an email telling me what it is I have to do in order to become able to get an Entry Level position in the Game technology field of work. I let nothing get in my way and im going to go into Video Game technology, whether I'm qualified or not. Well there is my dream career, and my life's goals so I hope I hear back from you. Thank you and have a Happy New Year.

Hey guys,

Traditionally speaking, "Entry Level" positions don't require experience with shipped titles. They are for people at the "level" at which they are "entering" the industry.

Hope I cleared that up for you.
