EQ Download Only Expansion
Sony tonight announced the next Everquest expansion The Legacy of Ykesha will be a download only extension not available in stores. Among the features included will be new zones for levels 35-60, a new playable race of Frogloks (giant frogs - don’t ask), a new mapping system, new player armor slot (charms), expanded bank capacity, and new spells. The extension must be purchased online through Sony. An official page is up already, but still carries a blank announcement message (it not quite being January 15 - the official announcement date - in the US yet). There is no word yet on a release date.
