Cool ... Maybe, depends on how it turns out. Most shows on TV that have featured games or technology (that I have seen anyway) pretty much sucked! ... Here's hoping!

I watched Control Freaks I thought it was more like watching Video Sales Catalogue. Most Games were given small amount of time to display the quality of the game. The Adverts were mostly sponsored by Intel , so even they were boring .

Overall it was just one big sales push by the distributors to get that extra cash for christmas sales.

Bang on. A shocker. At least they were upfront about accepting the mid show adverts. And what was that bit about "the Gamecube plays DVDs and has online capabilities". Huh ? And the motocross game shots where they seemed to have forgotten the voiceover ? Smacked of corporate sellout - but then who's going to fund a serious video gaming show other than ABC or SBS.

Yeah... It was like watching an infomercial! ... In regards to the GCU comment about it playing DVDs, if I remember correctly they said it uses DVD's (as in small ones) but you can not play your movie DVDs in it... Something along those lines. As for online, well it has the capability, it's just not implemented yet ;)
