AFL 2003 CANNED!
Those who are followers of the code know of the problems that have been encountered by the Xbox team, but what of the more recently announced GCN version? Yes, its departure from the mortal realm has been officially confirmed on the titles official website.
The 9 month mourning period will begin shortly, for that is when AFL 2004 is planned for release on the GCN.

Wow.. A Publisher is delaying a release date in favour of the consumer??
Of special note though is the fact that the PS2 version topped the Australian PS2 charts in its week of release. Grand Final Week.. However the cover art is less then brilliant.
Hopefully Midway will try and cut in and do an AFL sports title as well.. Based around the BIG MARKS, ARSY KICKS, and ARGY BARGY.
