Excellent interview (but too short). I've been an avid fan since the Hungry Horace days (Gah! I'm old!) and of course Fist is still a great game (the leg sweep cheat being the only black mark). Never did finish The Hobbit unfortunately.

Ghost Master looks wonderful (Edge did a nice preview a few issues ago). A breathe of fresh (though ectoplasmic) air, one would hope.

Now that was extremely interesting. It was games produced by individuals like this that got us all hooked. Thanks for allowing me to put a name to those games. more interviews like this please.

I could've asked him many, many more questions, but I dwindled them down to what I wanted to know most. ;) Basically to find out what the Australian industry and Beam was like then, Exploding Fist, and what he's been up to since. I would've liked to ask more about Fist, it's sequels, The Hobbit, Discworld, some game design questions (he seems to be an advocate on producing games which aren't cookie cutter type products), and other nostalgic stuff.. but hey, the guy is going through some extreme developer crunchtime, so I thought I'd round it off to 10 or so questions. :)
