Morrowind Delayed?

Reading the official Morrowind forums, several EB stores in Brisbane have said that Morrowind is now delayed in Australia until June 14.

I called my local EB, and they told me they don’t even have a delivery date for the game. This is pretty bad news to say the least - why the myseterious delay, when the US has the game already? Is there even a delay at all?

I’m very unhappy with all of this. Does anyone have some further news?

This is only an educated guess. My local EB confirmed the June 14 date and blamed the distributor. When I reminded them that they held the distribution rights for the game in Australia, the comment was made that they didn’t yet have an import/export licence. Draw your own conclusions!!

Yeah, the above article is actually mine, for some reason after submitting I was logged out of BK and the article written by Annonymous…anywho…

I believe there’s an EB employee on the BK staff, perhaps he/she can shed some light on this issue? I mean, its not like the game snuck up on the company - Friday last week I was told early May, on wednesday I was told May, yesterday they don’t even have a delivery date.

Also, what’s the deal with this import/export license? Why suddenly introduce a 6 week delay for no apparent reason?

I believe that GamesMarket are importing copies from the US. Should be here around the 13th they think.
