NeverWinter Nights Beta Sign Up
Every year there’s a game due out that makes my mouth water. Despite being a veteran of disappointment I’m going to throw caution to the wind and say upcoming 3rd Edition AD&D title NeverWinter Nights is the RPG I’ve been waiting 20 years for (I’ve even started learning the NWN scripting language). NWN promises to bring pen & paper style RPGing to the computer for the first time, allowing the community to build and script their own modules into a lush 3D setting. Players will be able to host servers and link them up in a limitless network via a portal system which has the potential to offer an everchanging, persistent online environment.
The game has just entered Beta testing and if you want to be one of the lucky few to get a full look at this ground breaking title, head over to Infogrames Beta Test site to register. Bear in mind once you’ve registered you will have to go back to the site, log in with the password sent to you via email, and specifically request to be assigned to NWN.

Tip if signing up and you have high privacy settings in IE6 - you’ll need to allow cookies at least temporarily as the site appears to be reading from multiple servers etc.
