Morrowind GOLD
For those of you awaiting this hotly anticpated titled the wait is almost over. Bethesda (the developer) just announced today that the PC version of Morrowind has gone gold and should be shipping in the first week of May. No news yet on the Australian release but hopefully it shouldn’t be too long after its US debut.
For those of you waiting for the Xbox release because you have a sub-par PC the wait will be a bit longer, the Xbox version hasn’t gone gold yet and a solid date has not yet been given.
Here is a snippet from the Press Release, if you want to read the whole thing click on the link below.
Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player RPG in which a player can create and play any kind of character imaginable. Players can choose to follow the main storyline and find the source of the evil blight that plagues the land, or set off on their own to explore strange locations and develop their character based on their actions throughout the game. Featuring stunning 3D graphics, open-ended gameplay, and an incredible level of detail and interactivity, Morrowind promises to be an experience like no other.
Personally I can’t wait for this game, and although I was only introduced to it about a month ago the wait has been endless. Can’t wait for this one and you’ll be sure to find a review up as soon as I have time.

My local EB which is distributing the game (and boy were they annoyed I knew that) told me they are flying out copies and it will be on shelves in Australia by about the fifth of May.
