<description>Yeah, multiply the demo by a factor of 20 in boredom and repetition and you've got the final game.

Shallow, linear and boring. Sure it's got an awesome (if overly hungry) engine, beautiful graphics and great atmospheric effects and sounds, but a good engine doesn't make a good game.

The single player story consists of &quot;Hello, please go to this town and tell this person something&quot;. &quot;Hello thanks for telling me that, please go to the next town and tell the next person something else&quot;. Repeat until eyes bleed or forehead has keys pressed into it.

And if you get some side quests, don't worry, you'll automatically complete them by walking from town to town in the straight line provided.

It'll appeal to fans of the Diablo series (I liked I not II). Though anyone who's over kill loot sell repeat will want to shy away from this game.

As you can tell, I didn't like it. Good ideas, great engine, poor execution, IMHO.

I'm glad I won it.

<description>Yeah, I agree... I found it fun up to about the 15hr mark and then it started getting very repetitive.... Probably about the same time I got past the &quot;this engine is cool, lets see what it can do next&quot; stage

The engine definately looks freaking brilliant, but I ended up playing the end half from the overhead map because the trees 'n stuff kept on getting in my way. The maps are huge which, although a great feature, means that you are trudging though a swamp or whatever for ages before anything actually happens.

None of the enemies were fundementaly different from the ones in the previous chapter, just higher hit points and a different model. They don't really do anything different, just shoot a different coloured light at you usually.

Having said that though, I still liked the game and would (and have) recommended it to people. Just don't spend $90+ for it and don't expect a Baldurs Gate style micromangement RPG, its action pure and simple.
