Geez Louise - Gamecube blowout

Heaps of Nintendo GCN news has popped up over the last couple of days. So here is the lowdown thanks to PlanetGamecube.

Mario Sunshine - Will be launching in Japan on July 19 and America on August 26

This is much earlier than I expected. Can’t wait for the first REAL Mario game on the GCN.

Mario Party 4 - Will arrive before the end of this year in Japan, and hopefully the US as well.

F-Zero - Is also coming before the end of this year in both Arcade form (using Triforce hardware) and on the GCN.

Zelda - Apparently is still on track for a late 2002 release.

Phew, thats a fair bit of GCN news. Some VERY welcome surprises in the form of Mario Sunshine’s early release and F-Zero. Not many decent games for the GCN in the first half of this year…..but holy moly wait until the 2nd half. Eternal Darkness, Star Fox Adventures AND Metroid are all still lined up for 2002 as well. Here’s hoping.
