Final Fantasy X release date

Final Fantasy X finally (ha ha) has a release date. Ye olde Sqaure Europe has said that we shall finally see it on 31st May 2002, of course this is only available for the PS2. The game is also to be based off Final Fantasy X International which apparently includes some additional gameplay features that our chums in the US didnt’ see. Also joining what seems to becoming a trend, a “Making of” DVD is being included with the package.

Well it sure has taken a while and we still have a 2 month wait ahead of us, but at least it’s coming, and at least it will include some funky extras. Lets just hope they remember we are region 4 for DVD’s over here in Australia.

I Hope they do to bob342, I mean the region 4 code, I remeber getting Silent Hill 2 and the making of disc didn’t work, but I got it working, buying the Region X dvd pack, so I’m happy now :)

I’ve got something similar that allows any region DVD’s to be played. I’m still thinking about getting my stand-alone DVD player modified though. It’s pretty crazy how many DVD devices I actually have

1) Stand-alone player
2) DVD Drive for PC
3) PS2
4) Xbox (I didn’t buy the DVD playback kit though…for obvious reasons)

DVD device freak? hehe
Region X is pretty cool, ya just put this disc into your ps2 and it asks for this memory card that it comes with, put it in then blam! which region do you want? choose and the tray opens.. throw your dvd in and there ya have it!
