Sonic for GBA

In line with Sonic’s 10th anniversary, Sonic Advance for the Game Boy Advance will return to the classic 2D side-scrolling gameplay that made the franchise famous from the very start.

Dr. Eggman is at it again, with a brand new scheme to trip up Sonic and his pals. This time you’ll play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy as you collect Chaos Emeralds and thwart Eggman’s nefarious machines. You’ll need all the help you can get, because this all-new quest gets more challenging by the minute with tons of new puzzles and traps. Evade the obstacles and enemies, unlock secret areas, and uncover the hidden Chaos Emeralds to transform into Super Sonic for the final battle against Dr. Eggman!

Sega

Sonic Advance will also feature an interactive link to Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on Nintendo GameCube. The core of the data exchange between to two platforms will take place with the movement of the artificial life form “Chao”, which is featured in both games, from one game to the other, broadening the gameplay for both titles.

Multiplayer gaming is also supported in Sonic Advance with up to four players able to challenge each other by utlilizing the Gameboy Advance network cable. Only one cartridge is required for multiplayer gaming.

Eggman? Eggman! It’s Doctor Robotnik!

But hey! Doom, Super Street Fighter II Turbo and soon Sonic and Street Fighter Alpha 3. I *need* a GBA and a long road trip to take it on.

I can’t wait until Nintendo decides to make a handheld that you can actually see when you are playing it and not have move around so much so that you can actually see anything on the screen.

Sure these shots are sweet.. But it aint gonna look like that on my GBA unless I can plug it through a Gamecube.

Yeah i think they should have made the GBA with a ‘TV’ instead of a…i have no idea what they are called. I’ll just call it a ‘TV with out a light thingy’. But the colour is still surprisingly vibrant on the GBA. It can handle much more colours onscreen than the GBC, so it looks nice. And another good thing about the ‘TV with out a light thingy’ is that if it had one it would be REALLY chunky.

Sonic on Nintendo… armageddon should happen soon. @:-)

Well, its no surprise. With SEGA not making enough money from not having much sales. This is really the only way they can make money anymore. Poor sega ;_; *sniff*. Anyway im a SNES boy so there is not much for me to worry about. I prefere my ‘Lufia’ and ‘Megaman’ games compared to ‘Sonic and Dr. Eggman’ according to rob over here.

sega really never had anything going for them in my opinion. really, the only really good games that i can remember are sonic and sega rally. its only natural for these good games to abandon ship and join a better company

seeing they are a thrid party now and have had in the past many classic games which could be converted to gba it seems predictable that this would happen.
