Lord British Strikes Back
EvilAvatar reports that the game company, NCsoft Corporation, have given Lord British, Richard Garriott’s alter ego from the popular Ultima Online series of games, a new lease on life by giving him existence in their new online game, Lineage: The Blood Pledge. In their own words from their press release..
“The character will interact with players and participate in advancing the Lineage storyline during the next four weeks. With more than three-million subscribers and 250-thousand concurrent users, Lineage is the leading worldwide subscription-based online game.”

I’ve read a couple of articles about this and it seems much easier to get into than a lot of the other subscription based games. Not having to run away from rats for 2 weeks because you aren’t strong enough to kill them yet will be a welcome change.
Should be good, but chances are AU (and NZ) aren’t going to be getting a server any time soon….
