					<description>the only star wars that shows any promise is eposode 3, because you know that it has to end in a darkish way...but then again, we'll have jar jar or some other stupid character to crap over everthing again.

					<description>Whoa - i don't think it's the actors. Ewan McGregor is a great actor (see Trainspotting), as is Liam Neeson (see, er, Rob Roy). Like you say - it's the dialogue, and the hopeless direction. Word on the street is most of the shots were done in one take, with Lucas saying &quot;don't worry, we'll fix it in post-production&quot; whenever there was an error.

This is what makes it all so wooden - no chance to try something different, and a very clinical approach. Compare it to something like Apocalypse Now (currently in cinemas - a -must- see) which is incredible. No CGI, so SFX, just incredibly real.</description>
