George Lucas casts the best actors…not.

Not that its all the actors fault. There is only so much you can do with a crap script.

the only star wars that shows any promise is eposode 3, because you know that it has to end in a darkish way…but then again, we’ll have jar jar or some other stupid character to crap over everthing again.

why oh why did it have to turn out so bad for the prequels?!?!

Whoa - i don’t think it’s the actors. Ewan McGregor is a great actor (see Trainspotting), as is Liam Neeson (see, er, Rob Roy). Like you say - it’s the dialogue, and the hopeless direction. Word on the street is most of the shots were done in one take, with Lucas saying “don’t worry, we’ll fix it in post-production” whenever there was an error.

This is what makes it all so wooden - no chance to try something different, and a very clinical approach. Compare it to something like Apocalypse Now (currently in cinemas - a -must- see) which is incredible. No CGI, so SFX, just incredibly real.

THEY REALLY ARENT THAT BAD THEY AVE A VERY GOOD STORYLINE IF U KNOW THE WHOLE STORY. ALTOUGH THEY RELY TO MUCH ON WHAT THE FORCE IS ITS SUPPOSE TO BE MYSTERIOUS BUT OH WELL THEY FAILED IM AN A JEDI LIKE MY FATHER B4 ME
