Parts four and five have been posted in Slow News Day’s look at the future of massively-multiplayer games. Rounding out the series are questions dealing with the move to photo-realism and gazing a decade into the future to look at what the games we play will be like then.
Thankfully, not everyone out there seems to be chasing the photo-realistic train, though some of the visions of the future are lodged firmly in the realms of geek fantasy, and I truly feel sorry for those who yearn for a Star Trek holodeck in their own room.
