POR Aussie release put on hold
For those of you who have not been put off by the heap of bad reviews and are still looking forward to getting your hands on Pool Of Radiance, word is (see below) that the release date for Australia has been put back to end of October.
We have just been informed by HO that Pool of Radiance has a serious bug in the master. This product has already been released in the US over the weekend and is causing some files to be wiped upon installation.
Therefore, we will be witholding release of all stock until further notice.
A patch is now being developed, however we are evaluating whether to include this patch with the product now, or wait until the new master is issued.
The decision will be based upon the least disruption to retail and consumers. At this stage, we are looking at a new release date towards the end of October, however, will keep you informed as to the shelf date
closer to the time.

*Update: The Pool of Radiance site has an interesting message posted by VP of Product Development at Ubisoft in response to the issues mentioned above.
They must be in damage control right now.
