PS2 Price Drop
The price drop mentioned yesterday by Rob is not limited to the Playstation website. On Friday the Playstation 2 dropped $200 and is now retailing everywhere for $499.95. No peripherals or games experienced a price drop.
I imagine there are a number of poeple who bought PS2s in the last fornight which would be fairly unimpressed by the move. If you bought your PS2 from an Electronics Boutique store within the last 2 weeks, they will actualy refund you the $200. Of course you need appropriate ID and the receipt but it’s a nice gesture for those who are feeling a little bit shafted.
