Simsville Cancelled
Maxis today announced that Simsville, a game that was to take the best elements of SimCity and The Sims and combine them, has been cancelled. Stating that the game simply wasn’t up to scratch, a Maxis spokesperson added that the team had done a great job and had been assigned to other projects, including The Sims Online.
The next Sims project is Sid Meier’s Sim Golf - a collaboration between Sid and Sims designer Will Wright. Following that, the third Sims expansion, Hot Date, will hit shelves mid-November.
