Project Ego
Still looking like the best reason to own an Xbox, - did someone say only? - Project Ego was given another showing at the European GDC. Peter Molyneaux was on hand to take people through the game. Molyneaux’s Lionhead Studios is not the company developing the game though, rather a sttelite company called Big Blue Box, though no small amount of help is coming from the company that produced Black & White, in the form of code, among other things.
Project Ego looks to take you on a journey lasting your character’s lifetime, and is being designed to allow each player an entirely unique experience and character. Black & White had similiar aims so one can’t help but be wary. Never-the-less, whenever Molyneaux’s name gets mentioned, despite whatever you thought of his last effort, it generally always warrants a double-take.
