Appeals Court Over-Turns MS Break-Up
Ok, we’ve got a bit more of a handle on the AO addiction today. Evey story gets it’s own news post ‘cause I’m feeling generous ;)
Yesterday in the U.S. an appeals court over-turned a lower court order that would have seen Microsoft split into two separate companies. It agreed that Microsoft held a monopoly on operating systems and that some of it’s competitive practises had amounted to illegal use of that monopoly.
America - land of opportunity until you’re too sucessful and you have to be reigned in? Just let the man make his buggy software and we can all get on with more important things like playing Anarchy Online.
