There are a few small notes so I thought I’d just compile them into one post, but for those feeling a little un-settled by all the talk of persistent-state worlds, rest assured the members of the BigKid team that play massively-multiplayer titles are still very much in the minority.
An expansion pack has been announced for Asheron’s Call, entitled Dark Majesty. The expansion will see a new island introduced, as well as things like player-owned houses, letting you own your own piece of virtual real-estate.
There is a transcript up on AO Stratics of a chat conducted by AO Stratics with various members of the Anarchy Online development team.
Lastly, GameSpot have a trailer up on their site for the next EverQuest expansion, Shadows of Luclin, which will bring a graphical over-haul to EQ as well as introduce a new area to explore on a moon-sort-of-satellite orbiting Norrath. Oh yes, it’s all quite plausible, no really…really it is…
