QuakeCon 2001 Map Object Contest

Polycount have details on this year’s Quakecon 2001 map object model contest - you know, those sculptures/trees/ornaments that appear throughout Q3A levels. This year things are a bit different as competition organisers don’t just want objects that would be used to decorate a level, but…

…a model or suite of related models that are so visually impressive that they demand to be the focal point of the map. We want models that inspire mapmakers to build maps around them. We want models that knock our socks off!

Bigger, better, faster. You know the drill. If you’re itching to have your digital designs included in the next generatiuon of user maps, surf over to the Polycount competition site. Entries close August 3.
