Starting Your Own Studio

GamaSutra have posted the second part of a series looking at the process of starting up your own development studio.

Written by Daniel Sánchez-Crespo Dalmau who is starting up his own developer in Spain, it is well-written, looking at the process intelligently from a business management point of view and not just a quest to make the greatest games ever.

The first part works it’s way through location, putting a team together, concept design and so forth while the second installment looks at attending events, who to meet and what to bring, along with tips on working through difficult conversations, such as the one where you ask for more money!
