StrikeForce 1.6 Out Thursday
In my anticipation of Q3A CS style mod Urban Terror, I’ve overlooked UT mod Strike Force which does much the same thing for Unreal Tournament. SF is a total modification featuring a team oriented style of tactical combat similar to Counter-Strike (great game, horrible engine), and includes new player models, weapons, game types, and support for voice communication plugin Roger Wilco (VoiceCom). The grabs are looking extremely nice, and now I have to make room on my hard drive for Unreal Tournament as well! Beta version 1.6 is due out on Thursday. Thanks Simon.
Perhaps in answer to the release, the Urban Terror developers have scheduled for the same day both the release of the manual for their upcoming Beta 2 version, and a chat with members of the development team on IRC [irc.enterthegame.com] that evening at 6pm PST (0100 GMT).
