Tribes 2: Follow Up!
I have never been inundated with as many emails in regard to something I have posted on Big Kid. I’m glad there are so many people out there that agree with me. If you are lucky enough to live in Melbourne you might have even popped into one un-named retailer that would have sold you a copy. Several people have emailed me the specifics of a certain store and when I’m next in Melbourne I will be certain to purchase my software from them. Please do not email me asking for the name of the store I will not be able to tell you on the grounds that you are a spy for the distributor.
Within the email’s I have recieved, have also come ideas for different forms of protest. One of the most popular is to delay the buying of the game “Tribes 2″. This will certainly make the retailers take notice. Although I have fully paid for the product, do not expect to see this Big Kid-er reviewing it.
Another form of protest is to go into the store take a copy of “Tribes 2″ to the counter and tell them that you bought “Fallout Tactics” and “Black and White” because Tribes 2 wasn’t on the shelf at the time and then drop the copy of tribes 2 on the counter and leave the shop never to return.
Again I look forward to your comments, as much as I look forward to parallel game imports.
