Quake 3 mistakes
Word from our old friend Shadow is that some Quake 3 (original) boxes being sold recently have Team Arena (expansion) data on the cd’s instead of the original. Even though the CD is printed “Quake 3″, Team Arena is what resides within, useless without the original.
Apparently this was not a small batch, and a national recall of all Quake 3 boxes sitting on the shop shelves is in place. If you’re looking for Quake 3 make sure you know what you’re getting:)
