SoF Gold Gold
That’s not an Australian Olympic announcer in a frenzy, or a typo. Ravensoft’s Jake Simpson has made a .plan update announcing that Soldier of Fortune Gold has been completed and sent to manufactuers. There is no definite shelf date, but Raven will release a patch to upgrade vanilla versions of SoF after the product has made it to stores. Jake also provides a list of changes:

Some sound system fixes - for both EAX and A3D.
Two new deathmatch modes - Control and Conquer the Bunker
New methods of assigning teams - for CTF, Control and Conquer it’s now Red/Blue rather than just team based. That was getting too cumbersome.
Tons of new skins and teams. Guess who from Raven is in there:)
New levels. Not sure how many.
Some download fixes.
