Infogrames Melbourne House announcements

Australian developer, Infogrames Melbourne House, has announced that Le Mans 24Hours and Looney Tunes Space Race are both due for release in October - November 2000 on Dreamcast.

Le Mans 24 hours

- Over twenty cars on the track at once, each composed of 2500 polygons
- Four different views
- Race at speeds of 300+kph
- Select from 40 official Le Mans cars over two classes: GT and Prototypes (LMP and LMGTP)
- Ten tracks including Le Mans, Bugatti, Catalunya National and Grand Prix, Suzuka, Donington and more
- Five modes of play for drivers of all levels: Le Mans - 24 hour race against 25 opponents, Quick Race - for a quick fix of racing action, Championship - for the best of the best, Time Trial - race against your own records and Multiplayer - four players on screen at once!
- Tyre wear, fuel usage and car handling simulated from real statistics
- Fractally generated clouds and dynamic weather including rain and fog

Looney Toons Space Race

- Race as one of eight of your favourite Looney Tunes characters; Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Porky Pig and more!
- Zoom through six incredible planets and twelve challenging, spaced-out tracks with over forty events to beat
- Each character is composed of around 3500 polygons and has their own characteristics and style of movement
- Power ups galore
- Four player mode allows you to destory your enemies over and over again in true cartoon style
- Download Space Race Pinball to your VMU for handheld fun!

We will try and get some more info on these games soon and no doubt Infogrames Melbourne House will be showing off these little beauties at AGDC 2000.
