D2 Collectors Edition DVD
Sometime BigKidder Joel has sent word on a DVD drive that solves region lock issues with the Diablo 2 Collectors Edition DVD:
After the whole Diablo 2 Collectors Ed DVD saga, I’ve gone out and bought a new DVD-Rom drive. It is the Samsung 612 drive. I chose this drive because even though it is region encoded in its firmware (you can change the region 5 times only) there is a firmware pach for it to remove this limitation so that it can play movies from any region. the firmware patch is available here.
The D2 CDFix page has also been updated with some new information.
