Splinter is no more
Heard today from a very reliable source that Aussie developer Stromlo Entertainment has ceased operations. Stromlo were developing the promising 3D Flying Shooter title Splinter, among others. This is sad news, especially since we had broken a number of stories on Splinter and the game had recieved a lot of positive press.
Perhaps someone else will take the project over or maybe Stromlo will resurface at a later date.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to confirm these details from Stromlo as their phone has been disconnected, their website is down and I have received no reply from my e-mails. It certainly doesn’t look good at this stage so all the BigKid team would like to wish the Stromlo crew good luck in the future and we hope to see Splinter back on track at some stage.
