Dirt Track Racing Oz Delayed
The Australian release of successful racing sim Dirt Track Racing has been delayed till early November 2000. I have no new info from the Australian developer of DTR, Ratbag Games, in this regard but hope to soon. Probably the only good thing to come out of this is that by the time the game arrives there will be more games to choose from as DTR: Spint Cars could be out by then also. Unless of course they decide to do an Aussie version of the game:)
I remember BigKid received our US copy of DTR almost a year ago (review). Let’s hope the Aussie version is worth the wait.
The main reason why the game wasn’t released here at the same time as the US version is because the guys at Ratbag wanted to make an Australian version with Aussie cars and tracks. So far the cars featured in DTR Oz are Holden’s - Monaro, Kingswood, Torana and Commodore. Ratbag suggest that there may even be more so stay tuned.
