The Future Of FPS
Tech Extreme have posted an interesting article on the future of the FPS genre. But rather than simply coming out with their own opinions, the author has talked to some of the genre’s most famous faces such as Gabe Newell (known for producing Half-Life) and John Romero (known for being John Romero, among other things).
Richard Gray (Levelord): I never think to be revolutionary. For me the only important thing is the Fun Factor. Is the game fun? That is all that matters! Personally, I like the mixture of violence (obviously fake) with humor. I think Duke Nukem was this combination at its finest. I grew-up on Bugs Bunny, BTW ;)
