Hoekstra Interview

Oz site PlayNOW! has plied Raven Software’s Kenn Hoekstra with some questions about upcoming Trekky FPS Elite Force. The two page document covers all the standard ground, and manages a few cheeky queries on weapon balance.

PN!: Ok, we’ll come back to ICARUS, on to the ordinance then. Was it hard designing weapons in a world where a mobile phone sized device can level buildings?

KH: If there’s one thing an FPS gamer can relate to, it’s weapons of mass destruction. Everyone likes to see fantastic weapon effects … the bigger the better. Because of this, designing weapons for the game wasn’t as difficult as one might think. We had a lot of fun with it.
