Last Ditch D2 CD Fix
A reader has written in with this strange fix for his problems getting a CDRom to read the Diablo 2 CDs:
I tried everything to get the second CD
to work, including firmware upgrades to
my CD-ROM. Just before I went out to buy
a new CD-ROM (I have a DVD player). I
had a friend burn me a copy, and voila
no problems at all.
