Driver 2 scrapped for the PC
GT do not see any reason for manufacturing Driver 2 for the PC because of low sales figures on the original and have scrapped plans for a sequel. To combat this an internet petition has been set up by Driver HQ. For those who enjoyed the original, and would like to get on a LAN for some multiplayer in the sequel, you’d better make your voice heard at the petition page. The latest Metallica film clip actually pays homage to the game. James is driving through a city that is dissappearing in his rear-view mirror. I hope they fix that problem in the PC sequel when it is made.
