Crankin’ the Celeron
Dan from Dan’s Data is very proud of the euphemism in the title to this post. He thinks “Crankin’ the Celeron” is a clever way to describe what he has been doing with the top of the line 600MHz Celeron 2. Well, he is being revealed as quite a strange boy. Linguistic aptitude aside, Dan has put the new Celeron 2’s through their paces and although they don’t overclock as well as the first Celeron’s, they still provide a respectable amount of bang for buck (that euphemism was mine, not Dan’s).
